ARTOUR Project: vouchers for technological innovation in tourism and cultural businesses

The ARTOUR project – Artificial Intelligence and Robotics for Tourism, funded under the INTERREG Italy-France Maritime Programme 2021-2027, is launching a new call aimed at supporting companies in the tourism, culture, and creative industries toward a more digital and innovative future.

With a total budget of € 520,000, the initiative targets micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) interested in strengthening their competitiveness through the introduction of enabling technologies, in particular Artificial Intelligence and Robotics.

The goal is to support the development of new models for managing, enhancing, and promoting territories and tourism-cultural services, while also improving efficiency, quality, and innovation capacity.

The call provides grants in the form of vouchers offering full coverage of eligible costs, including specialized consulting services and the purchase of hardware and software tools needed to implement the projects. Companies can choose between two types of interventions:
– Feasibility Studies (FS), funded up to €15,000, to analyze and assess the technical, economic, and operational potential of new technological solutions;
– Proof of Concept (PoC), funded up to €70,000, to develop demonstration projects and concretely test the effectiveness of technologies in real or simulated environments.

Eligible applicants are companies with their registered office or operating base in the cross-border cooperation area of the Italy–France Maritime region, operating in the tourism and cultural sectors or related industries.

Applications must be submitted by 1:00 PM on 18 May 2026, in accordance with the procedures set out in the call.

This represents an important opportunity to innovate and experiment with advanced technological solutions: the full call, annexes, and all relevant information are available at this link.
