Smart decisions: artificial intelligence at the service of traditional businesses

On April 16, 2025, at 5:30 PM, the event titled “Smart decisions: artificial intelligence at the service of traditional businesses” will take place at Talent Garden – Giardini Baltimora 1 in Genoa. This is the second in-person meeting of the P2 | BASIC AI & ROBOTICS APPLICATIONS4SMES project, an integral part of the RAISE Training Program, coordinated by Spoke 5.

In an ever-evolving economic landscape, artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) will become increasingly strategic tools to guide even the most traditional businesses toward innovation, efficiency, and sustainability. This event will offer a concrete opportunity to understand how AI can be integrated into business decision-making processes, starting from real-world experiences and case studies.

During the event, participants will have the chance to hear from two prominent figures in the Italian tech scene, who will present practical approaches and tools for applying AI in the business world.

The first speaker will be Francesco Cricchio, founder and CEO of Brain Srl, a company specialized in big data analysis and the application of artificial intelligence in the financial sector.
Following his talk, Claudia Peschiera, Senior Software Engineer at FlairBit, will take the floor. FlairBit focuses on intelligent automation and digital transformation in industrial settings.

Attendees will gain insight into how artificial intelligence is reshaping the way businesses operate—even in industries that might initially seem far removed from the digital world. The speakers will discuss tools, methods, real-life experiences, and results, offering useful perspectives for the practical application of AI in production, management, and strategic contexts.
