Artificial Intelligence and Robotics: Implementation Strategies for Professionals and SMEs

On November 14 at 2:00 p.m., the training event “Artificial Intelligence and Robotics: Implementation Strategies for Professionals and SMEs” will take place at Talent Garden Genova Baltimora. The initiative is part of the project P7 | Advanced AI & Robotics Applications4SMEs, one of the training pathways developed within the RAISE Training Program and coordinated by Spoke 5.
The project provides professionals and employees of innovative SMEs with managerial, regulatory, and technological tools to implement effective solutions that enhance business processes, improve competitiveness, and promote the responsible adoption of emerging technologies. At the same time, it fosters dialogue between SMEs and RAISE researchers, encouraging Open Innovation initiatives.
Organized in collaboration with the Association of Engineers of the Province of Genoa, the event is reserved for registered members of the Association and grants four professional training credits (CFP).
It serves as an applied extension of the online modules “Innovation Management” and “Introduction to Advanced AI and Robotics Tools and Process Redesign”.
The program includes three main sessions led by leading experts from academia and industry:
– Technical session with engineer Luca Tricerri, software engineer specialized in embedded systems (Linux/FreeRTOS). The presentation will explore best practices for programming embedded systems and robotics, highlighting the integration of advanced tools such as LLMs, RAG, and digital twins, along with the analysis of operational risks.
– Business session with engineer Silvana Frascheri, consultant and trainer specialized in process analysis and redesign. The session will present real case studies of companies that have successfully introduced AI into their workflows, examining impacts on business models and the skills required to manage organizational change.
– Managerial session with engineer Emanuele Castagno, Executive Vice President of RINA, who will share practical lessons from AI implementation in enterprise contexts, including automation, quality control, predictive maintenance, and decision support with Generative AI.
The event will conclude with a round table featuring the three speakers, a representative of the Association of Engineers of the Province of Genoa, and faculty from the University of Genoa.
The discussion will focus on opportunities and competitive challenges linked to the adoption of artificial intelligence in SMEs.
