Abstract
The MERMAID‑AI project aims to develop an innovative maritime e‑health service using satellite technologies, artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR). Thi service supports ship personnel, cruise ship passengers, and recreational boaters by providing an audio‑video‑data link between vessel and shore station, enabling access to specialized health assistance areas.

Abstract
The “Anchemé” Project promotes inclusion of citizens from to disadvantaged groups (with motor, cognitive, sensory, or cultural challenges), to empower their skills and enhance their partecipation in society. To achieve this, the project aims to develop a platform that offers two types of tools: TRY, a 3D virtual system for immersive training and rehearsal, and PLAY, a set of support and assistance systems designed to help users perform activities within the urban context.

Abstract
In the era of digitalization and Industry 4.0, efficient and safe management of containers in container terminals has become a priority. The SAPIENT project proposes to improve container terminal operations (both seaward and landward sides) by integrating IoT solutions with optimization and simulation techniques. By developing a suite of software and hardware modules, the project seek to bost container terminal productivity while reducing workplace accidents.

Abstract
The project involves the development of edge computing platforms and AI services for aquatic monitoring systems, able to autonomously interpreting data and providing valuable information tailored to specific application contexts. The developed systems include underwater monitoring through a network of integrated sensors, the measurement of ecotoxicological endpoints via behavioral analysis of organisms, the evaluation of marine organisms’ responses to environmental changes, and the processing of satellite data using AI for the morphological study of riverbeds.

Abstract
The project involves developing an underwater intruder‑detection system based on high‑resolution magnetometers, designed to identify approaching threats, e.g. a diver, within port areas or along quay. The system consists of a network of low‑noise sensors capable of detecting metallic objects moving near the seabed, even in the presence of ambient noise typical of a port (motors, electrical lines, etc.).

Abstract
The SIZE-R project marks a significant advancement in retro‑port logistics by leavering technology to achieve enhached supply chain sustainability. The project will focus on flows between the port and economic areas or areas under special customs regimes (like ZES, ZLS, and ZFD). This will be accomplisced through the complete digitization of logistic processes, enabling instantaneous information exchange among all involved actors thanks to the implementation of a multi‑component and multifunction solution.

The goal of GIANO is the to design and develop a recommendation system for the city services of Genoa, based on a digital twin model representing citizens with and without disabilities. Following the Citizen Digital Twin model, the project propose an inclusive and secure access and exchange point of information, in which sensitive data are segregated and information regarding the individual’s psycho‑physical characteristics is carefully managed.

Abstract
The RAIRES project aims to finalize the development of robotic and information systems to automate the handling of refrigerated containers (REEFER) wich remains one of the last port operations still carried out manually. The project foresees completing the tuning of robotic systems designed specifically for this application, with different configurations studied to be mounted on reefer storage structures which may be existing or purpose‑built to accommodate the robots.
