Tuesday, December 2, RAISE brings to MAXXI – Museo nazionale delle arti del XXI secolo an afternoon dedicated to technological creativity and to the shared vision that connects research, enterprises and institutions.
RAISE Beyond – Research Beyond Research offers a space for dialogue featuring the protagonists of the RAISE Cascade Calls, the Ligurian ecosystem that develops solutions based on robotics and artificial intelligence to improve people’s lives and enhance territorial quality.
Starting at 2:00 p.m. – at the Carlo Scarpa Room in Via Guido Reni 4A in Rome – the event welcomes startups, SMEs and research centers that present results, prototypes and future perspectives across the four thematic areas that animate RAISE:
– culture, art and inclusion;
– healthcare and smart technologies;
– ecorobotics and environmental monitoring;
– smart and sustainable ports.
The afternoon opens with a focus on RAISE THE FUTURE, the visual project that interprets the ecosystem’s vision through images co-created with artificial intelligence for Roma Fotografia 2024 and 2025. The exhibition offers a glimpse into a possible future where research, technology and imagination shape new ways of observing and interacting with the world.
The program continues with presentations of the projects developed within the Cascade Calls, showcasing how research groups and companies address key challenges: inclusive enhancement of cultural heritage, intelligent management of hospital resources, advanced technologies for marine and coastal monitoring, coordination of underwater robotic networks, and the evolution of urban ports toward sustainable digital models. Each contribution highlights concrete examples of collaboration and technological transfer, central elements in the mission of RAISE.
The afternoon concludes with the RAISE Beyond round table, which brings together the speakers to discuss the value of shared innovation, the results achieved and the trajectories emerging from the convergence of scientific research, industrial applications and creative approaches.
