RAISE’s Spoke 1 takes center stage at the States General of Smart Cities

On October 20 and 21, 2025, the Altinate San Gaetano Cultural Center in Padua will host the sixth edition of the States General of Smart Cities, Italy’s leading event dedicated to digital innovation, urban transition, and technologies that improve quality of life.

In this context, RAISE’s Spoke 1 brings its contribution of research and experimentation on artificial intelligence applied to the sustainable management of cities.

Promoted by the City Vision community and launched by Blum!, the States General gather more than a thousand participants each year, including public administrators, government executives, business representatives, universities, and research centers.

The event fosters dialogue, exchange, and collaboration on key topics such as urban data management, environmental sustainability, future mobility, and participatory planning.

As an official partner, RAISE contributes to the plenary session with a presentation dedicated to the activities of Spoke 1, focused on applying artificial intelligence and digital systems to urban planning and efficient resource management.

The RAISE team will also take part in the Innovation District, the networking and experimentation space curated by City Vision. The RAISE desk will serve as a meeting point for public bodies, companies, researchers, and citizens interested in learning more about the project’s results and future developments.

Over the two days, Spoke 1 will join two thematic round tables – organized in collaboration with CNR and the University of Genoa – and deliver two public pitches in the District’s Agora: one highlighting the spoke’s research activities and another focusing on Seagul, an innovative tool developed by UniGe to support urban governance and planning through integrated analysis and predictive modeling.

RAISE’s participation in the States General of Smart Cities reinforces the project’s role as a bridge between research and society, promoting the dissemination of knowledge and the creation of new strategic collaborations.

The Padua event provides an opportunity to share experiences, connect expertise, and build a shared vision of the urban future—one that combines innovation, sustainability, and collective well-being.
