RAISE Spoke 1 at Genova Smart Week 2025
RAISE Spoke 1 will participate in the 2025 edition of Genova Smart Week, an event promoted by the Genova Smart City Association and the Municipality of Genova, organized with the technical support of Clickutility Team.
The event represents an important national and international platform for discussion dedicated to the development of intelligent and sustainable cities, aiming to collect and highlight best practices, ideas, and solutions—both technological and non-technological—intended to build human-centered smart cities.
The workshop, organized by CNR – IMATI of Genova, will be held on Thursday, 20 November, from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Representative Hall of Palazzo Tursi.
The initiative will present the activities of Spoke 1, focused on the design and development of technologies, devices, and services aimed at ensuring inclusive access to urban services and the surrounding environment.
The goal of Spoke 1 is to promote an expanded concept of Smart City, in which spaces and services are shaped considering the real needs of citizens, thereby improving perceived well-being and the quality of urban life.
In particular, the workshop will illustrate how robotics and artificial intelligence can today represent concrete tools for building intelligent, accessible, and inclusive cities capable of responding to citizens’ needs. Examples of devices and services designed to be context-aware and oriented towards enhancing urban quality of life will be presented.
Participation in this initiative will provide an overview of RAISE Spoke 1’s contribution to the development of future cities, highlighting the importance of a collaborative, inclusive, and technologically advanced approach in the planning of urban spaces and services.
The 2025 edition of Genova Smart Week offers a comprehensive program combining moments of dialogue between sector experts and institutions with activities aimed at citizens, schools, universities, companies, and start-ups, to explore how technological innovation can be integrated and applied to city administration and the management of urban services. Keynote speeches, national and international speakers, conferences, talks, and workshops will provide focused contributions on the main themes related to sustainable and digital urban development.
