RAISE up Pitch Day 2025
On July 23, 2025, starting at 2:30 PM, the final event of the second edition of the RAISE up Mentorship Program will take place at NH Collection Genova Marina (Molo Ponte Calvi 5) in Genoa.
The initiative, promoted and coordinated by Spoke 5 of RAISE with the support of PwC Italy and the I3P incubator of the Polytechnic University of Turin, will represent a key opportunity to showcase technological and entrepreneurial innovation through the presentation of the projects developed by the eight selected teams.
During the RAISE up Pitch Day, the participating teams will present the results of their work, which during the mentorship journey focused on strengthening the technological value, market potential, and strategic and financial soundness of their solutions.
The event will also feature the presentation of SMARTcup Liguria, a competition for high-tech entrepreneurial ideas aimed at promoting and supporting the creation of new innovative ventures stemming from research results, with the objective of encouraging their establishment in the Ligurian region.
The Pitch Day aims to give visibility to the projects, facilitate connections between teams and innovation ecosystem stakeholders, and highlight the potential synergies between the RAISE up program and SMARTcup.
The teams will present their solutions in pitching sessions organized by thematic areas.
In the field of inclusive technology design, the project EASE VR will be presented, a device that allows individuals with motor or sensory disabilities to safely train in virtual urban environments.
Regarding smart healthcare technologies, the event will include the presentation of DANTE, an ecosystem for monitoring vulnerable individuals; FitFES, a system for adaptive neuromotor rehabilitation; and Transfreq, a software for EEG data analysis useful in the early diagnosis of neurodegenerative diseases.
In the area of ecorobotics, the presentations will include BAR, a tool for ecotoxicological investigations; BioVibes, an environmentally sustainable piezoelectric material; and AquaSense, a sensor for environmental monitoring.
Finally, in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence applied to the maritime sector, the project PuriFiCaTiO₂ will be introduced, a photocatalytic felt designed for air and water purification.
Lastly, it is worth noting that on the same day and at the same venue as the Pitch Day, the Kick-Off Meeting of SMARTcup Liguria 2025 will take place from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Invited stakeholders are expected to arrive by 2:00 PM to ensure a punctual start of the activities.
