RAISE THE FUTURE. Images co-created with artificial intelligence tell the RAISE project
From September 27 to November 30, 2025, Rome will host the third edition of Roma Fotografia Future, a major cultural event that blends art, innovation, and new visions of the future.
RAISE is contributing to this event with the digital photo exhibition RAISE THE FUTURE.
The exhibition features digital images inspired by RAISE projects, displayed on LED panels inside some of the capital’s most prestigious museums:
– Castel Sant’Angelo
– National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia
– MAXXI – National Museum of 21st Century Arts
– National Galleries of Ancient Art – Palazzo Barberini
– Palazzo Merulana
The images are produced by CNR-IAS and CNR-ITD, co-created using AI tools in a co-design process involving an internal call and the active participation of the RAISE community, with the support of communication leads from the four scientific spokes.
The image selection is curated by the Communication Team of Spoke 5, under the direction of Marco Faimali.
This approach to scientific outreach – sharing the results of RAISE and exploring future scenarios of research and technology transfer – is entirely innovative: through artistic expression and within cultural venues, RAISE presents a vision of an inclusive and sustainable future.
Technology is portrayed as a tool designed to enhance quality of life – within the smart city and smart port, the hospital of the future, and in environments monitored and preserved through ecorobotics.
The images are organized in the catalogue into four periods, and visitors can also view photographs from the first edition held in 2024:
